Soaring As Eagles

The majestic eagle represents: power, strength, courage, and grace. We were created to exhibit these same characteristics. Psalm 103.5 says “Who satisfies yours with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.” Life has a way of wearing us down, but we are told that when we live in God’s presence we are renewed and refreshed, no matter how tired we may get.

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint,” (Isaiah 49:31 NIV). We must never give up hope because God will always provide for our needs. “But my God will supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ” ( Philippines 4:19). We are designed to soar in our thoughts and actions. Faith and belief in miracles makes this possible.

We may be older with the passing years, but internally our heart and soul is as youthful as our imagination will allow. Caleb at 85 was as spry and active as when Moses sent him out to spy when he was 40. Like Caleb we too can continue to soar, achieving things we never thought possible. When we stay in Jesus’ presence we can accomplish the impossible. My hope and prayer is that we soar mightily with Jesus at the helm; love and blessings, Carby.
