The great thing about prayer is that it can be done at anytime and anytime. God hears every word spoken and knows the need of His children. Those who belong to God will have their prayers answered. Prayers are answered according to His will. Being right with God makes prayers more effective. “The prayers of a righteous man is powerful and effective,” (James 5:16).
A prayer can be short but very effective. Peter was frightened as Jesus held his hand while on top of the water; he began to sink. Peter cried out in Matthew 14:30-31 “Lord save me!” “O ye of little faith, why did you doubt?” When in doubt pray and stay faithful to Jesus. Doubt can cause prayer to go unanswered. Faith and trust that God will answer prayer is a must. “ And without faith it is impossible to please God…” (Hebrews 11-6
Pleasing God is important for answered prayer. God’s love for mankind is so great that He willingly sacrificed His Son Jesus to give eternal life to anyone who accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior. Stay true to God no matter what and pray to God about everything. “Therefore whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours,” (Mark 11:24).
