There is so much happening today in the world that without a compass or a guiding light it is easy to get absorbed into the chaos of everyday life. The best guiding light in the world is the Spirit within that God gives to every believer. Romans 5:5 puts it this way, “And hope does not disappoint us because God has poured out His love into our Hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has give us.”
The Holy Spirit within is a beacon of hope and our lifeline here on earth. It’s important to seek out and then listen to the Holy Spirit. God’s Spirit will never mislead nor lead us down the wrong path. It takes faith to trust what you cannot see. Hebrew 11:1 puts it this way, “ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Although the Holy Spirit is not visible physically, it is spiritually present. It will respond when called upon.
It’s good to know that the Holy Spirit is always by your side. Trust that the Spirit will protect, guide, and keep you on the right path. Believe that God’s love is never interrupted. The light of God’s Spirit shines brightly in you and will never extinguished just as God’s love endures forever, “Give thanks to the Lord for He is Good, His love endures forever,” (Psalm 136).
