Living in Christ

For the Apostle Paul living in Christ meant everything to him. (Philippians 1:21) says, “For to me, to live is Christ” Jesus died on the cross giving everything he had for us. When we realize the magnitude of this sacrifice our love and gratitude for Jesus is unwavering. We should want to live our lives glorifying God, and defending the gospel of Jesus Christ, and sincerely desire to model our lives after him.

An Ancient Saint when speaking of the Apostle Paul said: “He did eat, and drink, and sleep eternal life. Jesus was his very breath, the soul of his soul, the heart of his heart, the life of his heart. The Apostle Paul is the perfect example of living in Christ. In today’s world this becomes a difficult task unless we are cloistered in a monastery. However, we must continue to glorify God using the gifts and talents we have.

We are in a battle of good versus evil. Living in Christ is our best defense against the onslaught of constant worldly demands that want to lead us astray. “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one,” (2 Thessalonians 3:3). Living in Christ will be a huge accomplishment. My hope and prayer is that we grow to live more in Christ; love and blessings, Carby.
