Is it possible to stop worrying? Absolutely! It’s true that in todays world there is much to worry about: the energy crisis, war breaking our, higher prices, the presidential election, etc. All these things are beyond our control. The Good Book says “Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you,” (1Peter 5:7). There’s nothing the Lord can’t handle. It makes good sense to cast our burdens to the Lord.
Matthew 6:26 says, Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable then they? In our darkest days and greatest trials God is there to lift us from our heaviest burdens. He loves us so much and God is always present. As children of God His grace and mercy eliminates our worries and anxieties. God is the answer.
Our faith and belief in the Creator of the Universe gives us the spiritual strength to resist worldly matters that contribute to worry and anxiety. The more we love and trust God the easier it gets to overcome the temptations of the world that lead to anxiousness and anxiety. “I sought the Lord and he answered me, he delivered me from all my fears,” (Psalm 34:4). I pray that our worries disappear, and that we grow in God’s love; love and blessings, Carby.
