How Our Mind Can Help the Healing Process

Jesus is the great healer. The Word of God tell us that Jesus heals. “He heals the broken hearted and binds up there wounds,” (Psalm 147:3). We need faith in God that we will be healed. Our mind when properly engaged can help the healing process. Through affirmations and chanting we involve our emotions that powerfully influence the physical side of healing.

Affirming the word of God repeatedly “He forgives all my sins, and heals all my diseases,” (Psalm 103:3), is good, but if you were to chant this same phrase it adds emotion and a rhythmic motion to our physical body. In this state our bodies are impacting our mental, physical, and spiritual states. Our bodies are influencing mind, and our mind is influencing our body. Chanting makes this possible because it is a spiritual and active form of meditation.

Transitioning from active meditation to a more peaceful silent meditation quiets the mind. “ Be still, and know that I am God,” (Psalm 46:10). In silence we make contact with God, activating our spirit, heart, and soul. Using Jesus’ own words, “Father I thank Thee that thou has heard me, and I know that thou always hears me,” (John11:41-42). Knowing in your heart that God will heal you. My hope and prayer is that God heals you; love and blessings, Carby.
