Thank the Lord for He is Good

“Give thanks to the Lord for he is good, his love endures forever,” (1 Chronicles 16:34). God’s love for us is so great that he sacrificed his one and only son Jesus Christ on the cross for our salvation for those who believe in him. This one act of God teaches us that there is no greater love, and we owe him everything: our love, obedience, our heart, and a life that is a living sacrifice, and much more.

I’m so grateful for everything the Lord has done in my life. God never promised us a rose garden; a life without struggles, pain, or disappointments. On the contrary God said we would have trouble. “In the world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world,” (John 16:33). Our God has no limits and there’s nothing he can’t do. “In all things, whatsoever you ask for in prayer, believing, you shall receive,” (Matthew 21:22).

Whatever battles we are currently facing: health issues, spiritual battles, emotional trauma, and more; know that God is with us helping us to courageously move through this treacherous valley. It is only with God’s help that we can rise and overcome this crisis. “Nothing is impossible with God,” (Luke 37:1). God is the answer, our rescuer, and deserves our absolute gratitude and thanks. I hope and pray that we always give thanks to the Lord; love and blessings, Carby.
