Living in God’s Peace

True peace in today’s world can be elusive. We have more stress in our lives today than ever before. Philippians 4:6-7 is a blueprint for peace. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Following this guidance will give us the peace we seek.

What Paul is telling us is that bad things are going to happen, we will have struggles and hardships, and we will suffer. But, our strength comes from God, and we need to always pray, and tell God what we need. He listens and He will meet our need. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus,” (Philippines 4:19).

It is possible to experience God’s peace, “ And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus,” (Philippines 4:7). It is a feeling that we develop as spend time glorifying God through prayer, meditation, and reading His Word. He honors us with His blessings, peace, and love. My hope and prayer is that we share in God’s peace; love and blessings, Carby.
