The Way of the Cross

The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the profound story of our Savior. He sacrificed his life on the cross to save us from evil forces prevalent in the world. The blood Jesus Christ shed on the cross cleanses and purifies us. We are healed not just spiritually but physically as well. The power we receive from the cross is an unbelievable gift. “ For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who a being saved it is the power of God,” (1Corinthians 1:18).

Life is in the blood and His blood has the power to impart a divine life that heals and restores us. This is made possible by the love, mercy, and grace Jesus has for us. What God our Father asks in return is that we repent, believe the Holy Bible, and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior “ForGod so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him, shall not perish but have eternal life,” (John 3:16).

To believe in Jesus Christ with faith and love is our assurance that we will share in the glory of our Heavenly Father. Obedience to the Father and believing the Word of God helps us in accomplishing His will “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with riches of God’s grace,” (Ephesians 1:7 NIV). My hope and prayer is that knowing how much Christ suffered on the cross will help us with our suffering; love and blessings, Carby.
