Quiet Moments with God

When we spend quiet moments with God we sense and feel his presence. Our faith is strengthened and we are comforted by His love, peace, and presence. A calmness and peace surrounds us. We truly feel connected to God. After quiet time with God we are ready to greet the day with enthusiasm, and the spirit within shouts, “You have shown me the path of life, in your presence there is fullness of joy,” (Psalm 16:14).

God’s presence empowers us to reach unexpected heights that only a renewed spirit could inspire us to do more than we could ever imagine. Time spent with God honors him greatly which causes him to shower us with his grace. The more time we spend with God in solitude the more joy we have. “These things I have spoken to you that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be in you and that your joy may be full,” (John 15:11).

God loves us spending time with Him is prayer, meditation, and being in His presence. “God is love, (1 John 4:16), and spending quiet moments with God makes us more loving. My hope and prayer is that we spend more quiet moments with God; love and blessings, Carbie.
