Being grateful is an empowering positive emotion. It’s an attitude you develop, and it is inspiring to those you share your thankfulness with. It blesses you in ways you can’t even imagine. Your mental, physical, and spiritual states are enhanced tremendously, but even more importantly it’s biblical. “Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus,” (1 Thessalonians 5:18, NLT).
Gratitude affects your heart in a positive way, your physiology and internal chemistry flourishes in a very healthy way. Gratitude affects your emotions and well-being that gives you a boost both mentally and spiritually. It offers a shield of security during our darkest moments because we can thank God for His protection, faithfulness and knowing that “for those who love God all things work together for good…….,” (Romans 8:28).
Gratefulness in all circumstances no matter what , puts you in a powerful position; it allows you to see beautiful miracles, and God’s power at work through you in any and every situation. It’s God’s grace that warms our heart and brings us closer to Him . “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness,” ( 2 CorinthIan’s 12:9). My hope and prayer is that we all become more grateful in our daily lives; love and blessings, Carby.
