God’s Way is the Best Way

We have a purpose here on earth. Living the best life possible is a worthy and achievable goal. However, doing it only our way is not the best way. God’s plan for us is always the best way. It’s best to consult with our Lord before deciding on a course of action. God always wants the best for His children. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:1).

I need to confide more with my Lord and Savior. I know relying on God more will help me get the best results possible. “For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who says to you, ‘fear not, I am the one who helps you’ (Isaiah 41:13, ESV). As I rely more on God’s strength I find I can accomplish much more throughout the day, and it keeps me in contact with God.

“Strive for greater gifts. And I will show you a more excellent way” (1 Corinthians 12:31). We need to think bigger; like Jabez who prayed “…Oh, that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory….God granted him what he requested” (1 Chronicles 4:10). God does not limit our thinking, we do. God has shown us the way in His Word. To obey His Word is the best way, and the way to true joy. Let us all choose God’s Way; love and blessings, Carby.
