If you have accepted Jesus Christ into your life, you never have to worry about being alone. Jesus will be with you always, and you have a friend for life. If you feel isolated and alone it’s not because Jesus has left you, but it is because you have left Jesus out of your thoughts. “……I will never leave you nor forsake you,” (Joshua 1:5 BSB).
What we think, our thoughts, dictates how we feel. If you are feeling sad, alone, and depressed, change your thoughts. “A happy heart is good medicine, and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones,” (Proverbs 17:22). When our thoughts are loving, kind, forgiving, our thinking changes, our mood changes, and we feel better. The word of God, doesn’t lie. It’s the truth, and Proverbs 17:22 is the formula for living a more loving, joyful life.
We have a choice of what we think. The more our thoughts focus on God, his word, and the Bible the more cheerful and joyful we become. Life is too short to focus on worldly things. We are in the world but not of the world. In John 3:16, God promises that we will not perish, but have eternal life. When we focus on Jesus we are never alone. Love and blessings; Carby.
