The world has had few days without conflict or war. Most of us have internal conflicts whose roots go back to biblical times. Throughout the Bible we read about conflict: Cain and Abel ( Genesis 4:1-16), the conflict between Angelic Angels and those who belonged to Satan (Revelations Chapter 12), and others. However, most of us desire more peace.
It seems we have more stress than peace in our lives. Such matters like the economy, jobs, discrimination, prejudices, and others are disturbing. A balance of stress and anxiety with calmness and peace is needed. “Peace of mind makes the body healthy, but envy rots the bones,” (Proverbs 14:30).
Daily living is challenging, and it can be difficult to stay calm. Our heart and spirit will give us the peace we seek. When we engage our spirit, we have peace. In Genesis God created us in His image. The spirit within us is our strength, and there’s nothing we can’t do. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me,” (Philippians 4:13). My hope and prayer is that we all receive and enjoy the peace and grace of our Lord; love and blessings, Carby.
