Jesus has the purest and most Sacred Heart imaginable. Over the centuries: prophets, martyrs, monks, nuns, saints, Desert Fathers, Christians, Non-Christians, wanted intimacy with Jesus. Engaging the Heart of Jesus is life changing. Your heart is the eyes and ears of your mind and soul. Aligning our heart with Jesus’ heart gives us the strength and courage needed to fight the good fight in today’s fallen world.
“Above all else guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life,” (Proverbs 4:23). Reaching the heart of Jesus is the key to life. It’s imperative that we do all we can to align our heart with the heart of Jesus. Our soul and mind are spiritual. When our heart is in sync with Jesus’ heart we feel the love of Jesus, and our actions become more loving. Our life is radically changed.
If we are to follow Jesus’ command to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind,” (Matt. 22:5). We need to tap into the power of God to help us accomplish the impossible. “For with God nothing is impossible,” (Luke 1:37). Jesus is the way, and his power can make anything possible.
