God’s Love Brings Inexpressible Joy

If we want more joy in our lives we have to be in tune with God’s love. “Gods love brings Inexpressible joy,” ( 1Peter 1:8). It’s that simple, but for most of us it’s not that simple. I believe it’s because we spend to much time looking for love in all the wrong places. Our greatest source of love lies in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He sacrificed His life on the cross for you and for me. There is no greater act of love than that.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends,” (John 15:13 NIV). Jesus set the bench mark. Our sinful nature makes it hard to love others the way Christ loves us. Only Jesus can give us the love that surpasses all understanding. “And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled with the fullness of God,” (Ephesians 3:19 ESV). Only God’s love for mankind can save us. We only need to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

We cannot earn the love of God. It is a gift freely given to us. It’s a precious grace that God bestows on those who love and follow His Son, Jesus. I believe the joy that never runs dry is the joy that we receive from God. Jesus is the source of inexpressible joy. It is our love of Jesus that allows His love to come into our lives, and brings us the love and joy that surpasses all understanding. I pray that we all receive more love and joy into our lives, love and blessing, Carby.
