Following Christ No Matter What

In such a tumultuous world that we live in today, it’s no wonder that many Christians are struggling to find the peace that surpasses all understanding. What is needed is following Christ no matter what. Life is not easy. We are challenged in so many ways. Often there is more pain and suffering than joyous moments. In moments like these we need to follow Christ as our leader and commander. Jesus has said …..”You must follow me,” (John 21:22).

Following Christ is not always easy. We know in our heart it’s the right thing to do. But, in our world there are so many distractions, and temptations, that we can easily lose sight of the most important thing. That no matter what, we should listen to that small voice in our head (our conscious) whispering to us to do what is right. When we ignore these signs we get ourselves into trouble. “In the world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world,” (John 16:33).

Jesus is the great equalizer. He will come to our aid the moment we need His help. “In all things, whatsoever you ask for in prayer, believing, you shall receive,” (Matt. 21:22). In our greatest need we can lean on God. He will always help us, we just need to ask. Never forget that God loves you, and that He is always with you; love and blessings, Carby.
