In the world today it seems we are constantly fighting against the evil that is affecting each one of us in some form or another. Baby heads cut off over territory disputes. It’s just getting crazier by the minute. If God loves us why do these things happen? God gave man free will to choose good over evil. It’s man’s wickedness that puts God in a bad light.
The truth is God loves us, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” (John 3:16). God, through His Son Jesus shows us how to live with love and forgiveness in our heart. The Gospel of Christ when followed teaches us how to overcome the most difficult situations.
“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends,” (John 15:13). Jesus’ death on the cross was the greatest act of love ever. He died so that all who believe in Him can be with God for eternity. His sacrifice on the cross opens the gates of heaven to all His followers.
