It’s amazing that as Christians Jesus Christ has given us spiritual wealth beyond belief. It’s that special feeling we get when we are quiet, and are able to spend time with God and the spirit inside of us. “The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life,” (Job 33:4). There’s no greater peace that one feels when we spend time alone with our Creator.
We have so much to be grateful for when we think about how much Jesus Christ has done for us. His death on the cross gives us everything: our sins are forgiven; we are free to follow Him if we choose, and the opportunity to spend eternity with the Creator of the Universe. There is no cost because Jesus Christ paid the price with His blood on the cross.
We have life because we are created in the image of God. “When God created man, He made him in the likeness of God,” (Genesis 5:1). Our existence honors God. He loves us so much, and when we love one another we honor God. God is love, each of us has His likeness, and if you have accepted Jesus into your life you have the spirit of God within you.
