God’s Perfect Grace

God’s love for us is manifested in many different ways. Seeking God with all our heart and soul draws us closer to God through His grace that He freely gives us. We cannot earn grace through our good works no matter how hard we try. Grace is God’s undeserved favor that He freely gives us. “For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.” (Romans 6:14)

When we are in sin we are apart from God and no longer covered by His grace. It’s when we are free from sin that we become right with God and become justified in Christ. We receive God’s grace that gives us the strength and courage needed to overcome any challenge. God works powerfully through a humble heart. “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” (James 4:6).

Scripture tells us “So that, having been justified by His Grace, we might become heirs having hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:7). This is such a positive statement that gives us hope of eternal life when we stay in Christ and are justified by His grace. My hope and prayer is that we remain in Christ, and when we fall into sin because of our humanness. That we immediately repent and seek God’s grace. My love and blessings to all, Carby.
