A Zest for Living

At times in our life there are moments when we may be bored, lack energy, feel sad, or a combination of several emotions. This will keep us from performing at our highest level. The Bible tells us to “….take hold of the life that really is life” (Timothy 6:19). When we live right, and do good things for others, we lay up for ourselves treasures in heaven.

When we focus our attention on eternity and God, we realize more than anything we are spiritual beings. We develop an attitude of love and joy. Psalm 16:11 puts it this way, “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures for evermore.”The closer we get to Jesus the more joy, peace, and love we will have.

To have more zest in our life we need to know God’s perfect will. This will give purpose and meaning to our life. We are created in the image of God therefore; we are capable of reaching unbelievable heights. I pray that we search and find God’s perfect will for each of us. Love and blessing to all, Carby.
