Our Greatest Hope

Everything seems to come alive in the spring; flowers bloom, trees are blossoming, birds are chirping, grass turning green, everything is growing. Most of all we are spiritually growing because Christ has risen. It’s no wonder Easter is in the spring. Christ has risen and has given us hope for a better tomorrow.

Jesus said “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die” (John 11:25-26). This passage gives us tremendous hope. It’s our belief in Jesus that will sustain us throughout all the difficult times we will face here on earth. Our eternal destiny is planned out for us; for all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

My hope and prayer today is that we do not let the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross go to waste. He died for us so that we might live for one another, and someday share in His glory. It’s up to us to love one another as Jesus loved us. If we can do this, we will bring love and glory to God our Father. Love and blessings to all, Carby.
