A heart full of gratitude and love is appreciative of the many blessings our Lord graciously bestows on us. “I give thanks to You O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever” (Psalm 66:22). We honor God when we give thanks to God and others. A heart full of love and compassion will undoubtedly reach the heart of Jesus.
As Christians we desire a more intimate relationship with Jesus. We thank God for giving us Jesus. It’s Jesus that lightens our steps as we follow Him. It’s Jesus that gives us peace that surpasses all understanding. The Holy Spirit guides us in following Jesus’ footsteps. The closer our walk is with Jesus the greater joy we experience in our lives. Following Jesus is a way of life, and the closer we get to the heart of Jesus the more pure joy we will experience.
As our love for Jesus grows, our love for ourselves and others grows also. There is no greater love than Christ sacrificing his life for us. Jesus is God’s greatest gift to mankind. We are so blessed when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. My hope and prayer is that our faith in Jesus grows so that we spread his love to others, love and blessings to all, Carbie.
