Take It To The Cross

Living is an adventure full of twists and turns; with many interesting and frightening moments. We face difficult problems beyond our control, if only we could live life to its fullest. We make things more different than they should be. The answer lies in these words “Take it to the Cross.” Jesus Christ wants to help us but we need to ask. How better than to lay our concerns or frustrations at the foot of the Cross.

“Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He will never let the righteous fall.” (Psalm 55-22). We are made righteous when we accept Jesus’ death on the cross. He was crucified for us; so that we could spend eternity with Him, and God the Father. Jesus gave us a beautiful gift. When we surrender our problems, concerns, anxieties, frustrations, anger, etc., and lay them at the foot of the cross; Jesus wants to lift our burden.

There is tremendous power in the cross. Jesus’ blood reminds us that life involves suffering, Jesus at the cross endured the worst suffering imaginable. Any suffering we do pales in comparison. My hope and prayer is that each of us lay our burdens at the foot of the cross, and let Jesus help us. Love and blessings, Carbie.
