The more Christ-like we become the more of God’s glory we can see. The veil that shields us from God’s glory is slowly peeled away as our love for Christ grows stronger. Holy scripture puts it this way “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18).
The more like Christ we become the more of God’s glory we can see. The veil that shielded us from God’s glory is slowly peeled away as our love for Christ grows stronger. The Holy Spirit is our link to the heart of Jesus. When our heart is linked to Jesus’ heart we feel greater peace, joy, and love. The more we engage our heart with the heart of Christ we begin to feel a greater appreciation, adoration, and love for the Creator of the Universe.
We are gradually transformed in heart, soul, mind, and spirit as we follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. This total transformation cannot happen unless we conform and submit totally to the will of God. When this happens we begin to see more of God’s glory. Our veil is further pulled back and we see more of God’s glory. Our faces and bodies are brighter with a glow by the power of the Holy Spirit. My prayer is that we can connect with the heart of Jesus through prayer and meditation, and be transformed in body, mind, and spirit. Love and blessings to all, Carbie.
