Eliminating Fear

When we doubt, and foster any unbelief in our lives we become anxious, fearful, and we worry. The cure for eliminating these negative emotions is to trust God and believe in the power of His word. The word says “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your request to God” (Philippians 4:6).

Jesus offers us a peace that surpasses all understanding. His sacrifice on the cross demonstrates His love for us, and His peace penetrates deeply into our hearts when we believe and trust in Jesus. Fear, anxiousness, and worry subside the more we stay focused on Jesus in prayer, His word, and meditate.

Through prayer we reach the heart of Jesus and strengthen our own hearts spiritually. As we grow spiritually our hearts center on the heart of Jesus; the goal is to become more Christ-like. When we cry out to Jesus asking for His help, He hears us and will meet our needs perfectly if it is His will.

My prayer and hope is that we bring our fears, anxieties, and worries and lay them at the foot of the cross. Christ died for our sins. And to heal us. BELIEVE! Blessing and love to all! Carbie
