A More Peaceful Way to Live

If you are like me, there are times in your life that you wish that things within you and around you would be more peaceful. Peace can be elusive, when there is so much chaos and terrible things happening in the world, in our own country, state, and cities. There is a better way to live. It starts with you, and with me. It’s the power of one. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, are one Triune God. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit….” (Matt 28:19)

For us to have true peace in our lives we have to practice living our lives in ways that brings us closer to the greatest peacemaker ever—Jesus Christ. It is no wonder that we feel a greater peace after we have fervently prayed, in a church setting, or in meditation. Whenever our focus is on Christ we automatically feel his peace and presence. It is comforting and soothes our soul. Jesus is the answer for greater peace in our lives. “You will keep the mind that is dependent on you in perfect peace, for it is trusting in you.” ( Isaiah 26:3).

When we trust God with our entire being: heart, mind, and soul, God will bless us abundantly with the peace that transcends the peace that the world offers. My hope and prayer is that we all experience the true peace that only God can bestow on those who love Him. Until the next time: Love and blessings to all, Carbie.
