Growing Pains

In our youth when our bones were growing faster than our bodies we experienced growing pains. As we got older we experienced an achiness in our joints, a growing older pain in our bones. We suffered as a result, but none of this compares to the suffering Jesus Christ endured for us on the cross.

Laughter helps us in many ways to lighten our load. It helps release endorphins and other positive inducing hormones that help lessen the pain. “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22).

I believe God wants us to have a sense of humor. It helps us in so many ways. Sadness and depression crushes our spirit and contributes to growing pains. From this day forward remember to laugh more, and stay cheerful. This will help heal your body from all growing pains: physical, spiritual, and emotional. With love and blessing, until the next time, Carbie.
