Jesus’ Precious Blood

The greatest gift God has given us is sending His Son Jesus Christ too the world to show us how to live our lives in a way that brings glory and praise to the Father. We are all sinners and fall short of living our lives according to the commands of the Lord. It was necessary to send His Son to save us from ourselves, and help us enter the Kingdom of the Lord.

The gospel is the word of God and sharper then any double-edge sword. The gospel leads us to live a life worthy of the Lord when we apply what it is teaching us. Paul sums up the gospel in a few short words; “But we preach Christ crucified:” (1 Corinthians 1:23). The crucifixion of Jesus Christ, and the blood Christ shed for us was for our redemption and the forgiveness of our sins.

When we repent and confess to God our sins we must begin to live a life worthy of the Lord. Each time we reflect on the cross and the huge sacrifice our Lord made for us we are reminded how much God loves us. It is God’s love for us that will sustain us through difficult times.

It is our suffering that brings us closer to God. Our suffering is a reminder of what Christ endured on the cross. Our suffering will always bring us closer to God, and shows God how much we love him.

My hope and prayer is that through our suffering we get even closer to God. It reminds us how much Christ suffered for us, and through the Holy Spirit May we receive the strength to endure our suffering; love and blessings, Carbie.

  1. Yes primo, we all have a cross to carry one way or another. And, maybe that’s why I feel closer and understand more.
Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge.
