Have you ever said to yourself there has to be more to life than this? Have you found yourself stuck in a rut? I think we have All been there, I know I certainly have. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be this way. There is an answer and I hope after today you are willing to give it a try. Things might be bad for you right now, you may even feel that it is hopeless, but believe me it’s not.
But you have to do two things. Nothing worthwhile is easy or free. It will take a deep commitment. First, you must have a hunger that is relentless. You must develop a hunger for Christ. The Bible puts it this way, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be satisfied,” (Mathew 5:6).
It is in our best interest too hunger for Christ even more than physical food or water. We can survive without water for up to five days, without food for 2-8 weeks. But if we don’t feed ourselves spiritual food we are sitting ducks for the temptations of the devil.
Just like Christ was tempted by Satan, we most certainly will be as well. You may not be a Christian but Satan does not discriminate. But if you continue to hunger for Christ daily seeking His heart and His will, your love for Him, for your family and all those close to you will grow by leaps and bounds.
My prayer and hope is that we hunger for God with all our heart, mind, and soul, and that we call on Him especially whenever we feel isolated and alone, and in all the good times too. May the love and power of God continue to flow abundantly in your life. Love and blessings to all, Godspeed, Carbie.
