Welcome to 2022! I’m thankful that things will begin to turn around for our county, our families, our friends, and ourselves this year. I’m grateful that although 2021 was a very difficult year for most of us, we survived it. We are living proof we are fighters and survivors.
I want to encourage everyone no matter where you are today with your health, your finances, your relationships, to keep on fighting. Don’t give up, don’t quit, but continue to move forward even though your struggle may seem overwhelming, hang-in there. There will be brighter days ahead, the gray clouds will lift and the sun will break through like the morning.
I am confident that if our faith stays strong we will continue to grown spiritually, mentally, and physically. We need to remind ourselves that a key phrase to repeat to ourselves when we are challenged or face a difficult situation is “Thy will be done.” When this becomes our focus we are empowered to do so much more than we could ever do on our own.
This will also be the key to to having a successful 2022 year. Doing God’s will, will be like being energized with jet fuel. We’ll be able to do so much more because God is generating spiritual energy into us. This spiritual energy that we receive from God will assist us to insure we are doing the will of our Father. The thing is, because we are being driven by this supernatural power, what we will be able to achieve will be phenomenal, unbelievable, and beyond comprehension.
To receive this spiritual energy there are four very powerful virtues we need to master too receive God’s mercy and grace. First, we must desire with all our heart a relationship with Jesus and our Holy Father. Second, we need to stay persistent every day, and cultivate reaching out for God’s love that is always available to us. The more we seek His love , the more we are filled with His love that will permeate into everything we do and say.
Third, our faith must never ever waiver. Our faith more than anything needs to stay resolved no matter what. Our faith is what keeps us connected to our Creator. That connection is made stronger by a faith and a strong belief. That leads to virtue four— we must believe.
When we believe that our faith is our strength and that our love in Jesus will sustain us through thick and thin, we become an unbelievable force. We become strong spiritually, mentally, and physically, because now we are in the arms of our Creator. There is nothing He won’t do for us, when we fully dedicate our lives to Him.
We always have a choice. My hope is that we choose wisely, and that we make the sacrifice necessary to learn and to share all that we can about our Heavenly Father. I wish each and every one of you a fabulous year. Love one another as we are commanded to do so, and share your love generously, especially to anyone who is suffering and hurting. May you all have a blessed and fruitful year; my love and prayers to all, Godspeed, Carbie out.
