Hope is such a powerful and enduring pillar of faith that it continues to inspire all who place their hope in a power greater than their own. Above all else we need to insure that we never lose hope. Hope is such a a generating force that it can continually drive us and sustain us in our time of need. Never, ever lose hope!
Hope does not discriminate, it is available for all who seek a fuller life. it may be better health, a new job, an improved relationship, stronger faith, or whatever else is important to you. Keep hope alive! Hope is a sacred gift, and we must keep hope alive for the rest of our life. It will sustain you through thick and thin, and it compliments your faith where it will thrive and become more alive.
A few years back I wrote a lengthy poem on hope called “Hope is a Wonderful Thing.” It’s too lengthy too include the entire poem, I’ll just include some of the parts that are pertinent to today’s writing.
Hope is a wonderful thing it gives a person courage when desperately needed. We never want to give up hope. Sometimes it’s only hope that will sustain us when everything around us is falling apart. Hope comes from deep inside of us when we seem to have nothing else left. Hope is like the last frontier you may lose everything, but as long as you have a breath to breathe, Hope can keep you alive. You must never ever quit, no matter what!
Hope is the spark that can trigger what is needed for your recovery. If you were to lose your hope the chances of getting back on your feet will be a more difficult and longer process. It’s your hope that will give you the motivation and determination you’ll need too start again, even if everything was lost.
A man with Hope knows that eventually something good will materialize once again. Someone without hope is nearing a state of complete exhaustion. This is why Hope keeps everything alive , the possibility to move forward, to change direction, and pursue a new dream is extremely possible when you keep hope alive.
Hope helps you keep your faith alive, and you must truly believe that the spirit that lies within will sustain you as you rise above your difficulties. Once you tap into the spirit within you will be amazed how that little spark of hope will ignite a flame inside you that will give you the drive you need to achieve your goals and dreams. Just remember that you with God are a majority, and he will not let you down. You just simply have to believe with all your heart and soul.
To be honest as I reread the poem I ended up including nearly half of it here. The parts I included complement what I’m writing. I warned you that it was a lengthy poem. For Christian’s there are many biblical verses that talks about Hope, I’ll cite a few verses here, and then give you my comments: Romans 15:13, Jeremiah 17:7, and Romans 5:5.
“May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him that you may overflow with Hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13). Hope fills us with joy and peace as our trust-in our Creator continually grows “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.” (Jeremiah 17:7). Putting our confidence in Jesus gives us the strength and courage needed to grow our faith and focused on Jesus. “And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.” (Romans 5:5). When we remain hopeful we wii not be as disappointed because God has poured his love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that he has given us.
These truths increase and strengthen our faith, and faith is what we hope for without the evidence yet. But if we believe that all things are possible with God, then our faith increases, our hope increases, and our love for Jesus increases. We become ripe for our Lord to perform his work in our lives. This is the message in a nutshell, have faith, hope, and love, believe that God will provide, and never, ever, stop believing. strive like Jesus to do the will of our Father not our will, but his will should always take precedence.
