In many ways life can be mysterious, but at the same time the most beautiful experience that we live each and every day. I believe that most of us want to experience more peace, calm, and love in our lives. To find balance and a centering force in our lives, I believe we need to look within and focus on our spiritual center. Your centering force is based on who or what you believe.
You may not believe in God but rather have your own definition of your Higher Power. I know you believe in someone or something that can lift you up when you are feeling down. That might be how you find your center. I ran across a poem I wrote sometime ago that sums up perfectly how I as a Christian man can stay present and centered on Jesus.
THANKFULNESS
Lord you are so wonderful and majestically made. I am eternally grateful for the love you are showing me day-in and day-out. I rejoice in my thoughts when I am focused on thee. My heart begins too flutter when I stay centered on thee.
My love for thee continually grows I know that without thee I would die indeed. Life is so precious I don’t want to waste one single moment. I want to serve others as you have served me. I need your strength please help me so that I might go out and help others be.
Life is mysterious and man is more so. It takes a special gift to unlock these mysteries. I ask for the strength too look forward to each day. While the past has helped to shape me, it’s important for growth, but the past has done its job, and now it’s time to let go and move on.
Lord, my faith is in thee today, my thoughts are on thee. I know how important it is to take action. Good thoughts are okay but even better is to act on our good thoughts. Nothing is ever done by good thoughts alone, one must act on doing what is right.
It is through our actions that our good thoughts are heard. Each time we act we serve our fellow man. The more we act on our thoughts from above we begin to unravel the mysteries of life and equally important the mysteries of man.
Whatever your beliefs, my hope is that you find the perfect balance in your life. I believe we seek basically the same things: peace, love, joy, and true happiness. How you choose to seek out these gifts is up to you. If we choose wisely we will be truly blessed. Have a great day! Godspeed, Carbie out.
