Look For the Rainbow

In the last post I talked about how helpful meditation can be for your personal growth and development. Sometimes when you are meditating you have pure silence and that can be a wonderful thing. Silence can be invigorating and uplifting for your soul.

Life is full of peaks and valleys. I’m sure most of us have experience some down moment during the past year with so much that has happened. And at moments like this we need to stay positive to help us snap back quickly into reality. In these moments we need to look for a rainbow. Rainbows are so beautiful that you can’t help but to look at them with awe and such wonder. Rainbows usually appear after a thunderous storm. Nature is telling us that we need to expect something good to happen after something terrible has happened. This leads me to a poem I wrote some time ago.

LOOK FOR THE RAINBOW

In moments of darkness and despair, look for the opportunity that awaits your hungry soul. Be patient! Trust and believe! There is power greater than you could ever imagine that awaits to be called on.

There is always help available, it may come on moments when you least expect it. It may come from a comforting voice, a beautiful smile or a pair of twinkling eyes, or even a bird singing a glorious melody.

The scent of a misty fresh fragrance as you are walking through an enchanted forest. As you awareness grows and you take the time to be silent the greatest opportunity awaits you.

Be still! Listen and know that all will be well. Light overcomes darkness. Look for the rainbow that appears after a dark storm subsides.

The rainbow symbolizes opportunity when all seems lost look for the rainbow. The brilliance and beautiful colors of the rainbow against the glistening sun rays is one of nature’s spectacular sights.

As you go forward today look for your rainbow look for beautiful and positive outcomes. Look for the opportunity that awaits you. Look for the good as you seek a new rainbow. Seek and you shall find. Seek the light and you will have less and less dark days.

I believe the key to staying fulfilled and being positive it’s to continually look for the good in people. There’s no doubt that people over time will let us down. But to overlook this we need to remind ourselves that our Lord and Savior will never let us down. He is the same today, as he was yesterday, and will be tomorrow. he is as reliable as they come.
