Knockout Any Fear

When you have faith, love, and trust you can minimize most fears. In my opinion there is too much talk and use of fear to manipulate people. You can’t turn on the TV without someone trying too conform you to believe our think a certain way. We actually are better off staying away from most of the news and social media. It gets harder and harder tool discriminate good programming from this bad. It can be very deceptive much of the time.

Sometimes I think the objective of some leaders are those who have power and authority over the general public intentionally use fear to motivate his into falsely believing that things are worse than they actually are. This can be used to their advantage to sway people into believing that things are u h worse thuan they actually are.

I’m a California resident and some of our leaders use fear as a ploy to keep things locked down including the public schools when the actual scientific data no longer supports this strategy. I’m not sure how many of our lockdowns were even necessary. Anyway the point is that fear is an over used tactic that needs to be knocked out. Unfortunately the only people who have the guts to knock out fear is the little guys. The moms and pops who own a restaurant, a small grocery store, barber shops, nail salons, and other small businesses. These owners have the courage to stand up all this mongering.

It takes courage for our leaders to speak the truth, and unfortunately many of them are lacking on the courage necessary to speak the truth. In any event it will do us all good to strengthen our courage and illuminate any fear you are struggling with during these uncertain times. I wrote a poem on fear a few years back that I haven’t shared with anyone until now.

FEAR

One of our strongest and most debilitating emotions that can totally consume you is fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of a potential consequence when a certain action is taken, fear of a certain person or thing, fear of war, to a lesser degree conflict. Fear of being unemployed, the list is endless.

The point is that most of us are afraid of something, insects, spiders, flying, elevators, snakes, heights, etc. Fear is extremely common but needs to be nipped in the bud as soon as possible if not, it can paralyze a person to inaction.

It can set in motion other negative patterns such as fear to act, not wanting to do anything, a type of laziness might begin too consume you. Your attitude has completely changed from being positive, and now being consumed by fear and turning to a more negative attitude, making you even more lethargic and not wanting to do anything. This is a very unproductive state to be in and you need to snap out of all this negatively as quickly as possible. First you must identify what is causing you to be afraid then you must challenge that fear by confronting your fear head on.

Recognize that the fear was created in your imagination and your mind and it will take time and effort to rid yourself of what caused the fear. You were not born with your fear the only two fears that existed upon birth are the fear of noise, and the fear of falling.

Any other fear has been acquired somehow, someway. Your challenge is to work at one of your fears at a time and illuminating it. Take a fear that has caused you a lot of grief and meet it square in the eyes. If you can, and this might take sometime. find out where and when this fear originated. If you find source of your fear you will go a long way in the elimination of your fear

But even without knowing the source or cause of your fear you can still eliminate fear from your life, one fear at a time. It’s hard work that has to be done if you want to lead a more fulfilled and complete life. You live one day at a time, but when you begin the hard work to eliminate fear from your life you will find yourself in a much more positive state. You will feel much more relaxed and calm. You will be able to think better, and get more done.

Step one is eliminate the fear. How? Whatever our talked hid you are afraid of heights, it will take baby steps to climb higher and higher until your anxiety and nervous system begin to subside. It will seem like you are making no progress, but I’m reality you are, it would be gradual and you’ll have to be patient.

It you are persistent you will succeed. Live one day at a time, work on your fear each time it comes up and in time that particular fear will be eliminated from your life. You will begin to feel such a liberation and freedom that you haven’t felt in a very long time. You will feel empowered because you stood the test and were able to overcome a fear that was holding you back. Great job good and faithful servant.

The thing about fear is that if you remain in this state for any length of time it saps you of needed physical and mental strength that you need on a day-to-day basis. The best way to overcome fear is to put your faith, love, and trust in your Higher Power. For me it’s Jesus, “I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind,” 2 Timothy 1:7, “Have I not commanded you to be strong and of good courage do not be afraid or dismayed because the Lord is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9. In other words let your Higher Power help you through your fear all you have to do is ask. For me Jesus doesn’t want me to be fearful. When I lace my faith and trust in Him, He will help me in all areas of my life including fear.

Faith and love is the antidote to fear. With love and faith in you heart you have knockout power that will floor any fear you might have. Don’t let fear dominate your life. You are bigger and better than that. Go to your source if it is Jesus he will always have your back. With faith and some hope you will always win the battle against fear. Until the next time , Godspeed, Carbie.
