HOPE

At some point in our lives we must realize that we are never truly alone. Having faith in a Higher Power is such a tremendous blessing. The more we begin to rely on the guidance and the greater our trust is in him to guide and protect us the better our decision making becomes. I’ve been so reliant on my own abilities to problem solve, and solve my own problems that I never thought to ask the greatest problem solver that the world has ever known. The creator of us all. Who better to ask than God Almighty? We will all make mistakes that’s a given, but the quicker you learn to rely on the presence of the Almighty, the less mistakes you will make as you move forward in life. I wrote a poem a while back that I called “Hope.” I think it touches a bit on what I’m trying to convey.

Now that I’m almost totally retired I have more time for reflection. It’s an opportunity for me to help the younger generation that will follow a young thinking baby boomer. this is not an advice blog like “Dear Abby” but rather the type blog that likes sharing from my own Life Experiences so that you might be able to do things better the first time around. Remember that life is about second chances. Here’s the poem “HOPE” I hope you knight be able to relate to it.

“HOPE”

It started at birth, I was eager and hungry. I was growing day by day. Life is wonderful, just breathing fresh air is so physically exhilarating. life is so unpredictable you feel in the flow then puff it’s all gone. Where did it go? How do I get it back? Where do I go from here?

Setbacks and struggles are part of life. They make us stronger, they make us grow. We fell when we learned to walk, we got up and we walked. Life is a journey along its path expect to fall, but get up! The more you fall and get up each time the stronger your character will become.

You sense the tiredness of it all, and you want to give up, but deep inside of you a voice says “Get Up.” It won’t let you quit. You realize for the first time that your strength lies deep inside of you. It was always there but it is only on the silence and in moments of despair that you here this inner voice that says “get up don’t quit!”

The strength that lies deep inside of you is the spirit that is trying to blossom inside. It’s up to you to draw it out by going inward in silence And connecting with it. Each time you connect you will begin to feel a power that is bigger than You have ever experienced before. This spirit will guide you the more you put your faith and trust in it. Listen carefully to it, it will guide you in the right path for your life. It will not let you down. Your faith and love will grow beyond your imagination. Trust and faith is the key. Until the next time, Godspeed. Carbie
