Your heart is the most majestic part of your being. Not only physically where it is pumping thousands upon thousands of gallons of blood throughout your body on a yearly basis.
But it is beating 70-80 beats per minute everyday 24-7 for the rest of your life, a truly amazing organ, and one of the many miracles God created, when he created man. The human body is full of one miracle after another when you explore the full capacities of how our vision, hearing, brain function, skeleton system, nervous system, the multiple organs needed to filter, and aid digestion, our bodies are truly amazing and you are God’s greatest miracle.
Your heart is especially the most wonderful part that exists within your being. When you put your heart into something you are leading with joy, passion, enthusiasm, and love. When you engage your heart, you are activating an emotional component that will add an additional element to your thinking brain.
Your brain is always involved and is dealing with the various input it is constantly receiving. Your heart will help keep your brain in check, and give sensible input that will help it to make less hasty and better decisions.
When you stop to listen to your heart you slow down your thought process. Your brain is used to going a mile a minute. Listening to your heart is like a time out. Your heart doesn’t try to trick you like sometimes your brain does when you begin to overthink things and find yourself perplexed.
Your heart won’t deceive you nor try to fool you. It doesn’t know how. It will tell you straight up what the right thing to do is. The problem is that most of us don’t trust our heart, we won’t listen to it, but rather disregard the message it’s trying to send you.
We need to open up our heart more, trust what it is trying to tell you, and recognize that it truly wants your best interest in mind. When your heart and brain work in concert you are creating a greater potential to achieve more. Just remember too engage your heart more, especially in the decision making process.
When your heart is aligned with the heart of your Creator, your spirit that resides with your heart, mind, and soul, will help you make even better decisions. Because now you are tapping into the spirit that resides inside of you. This is a very powerful thing because now your internal spirit and your heart are assisting your brain in making the best decision possible.
You are now engaging your natural intelligence from your brain with your emotional heart intelligence from your heart with your spiritual intelligence – your heart and soul. It makes good sense that using all the intelligence sources you have at your disposal the better decisions and choices you’ll make over the course of your life.
Life is too short and we only go around once. Therefore, the better we get with the choices we make the better your life will play out. Put your heart into everything you do allow it to get involved in assisting your brain into making better decisions.
When stressing out take a time out and ask your heart if there’s a better way to do something. Listen patiently, it will answer you, maybe not right away, but eventually it will give you an answer. Most of the time your heart’s answer will be better then had you used just your brain.
The more you begin using your heart throughout the day you will begin to see a shift in your attitude. Others will also notice and you will be well on your way to a more enriched and productive life.
In the next session we’ll explore some of the challenges that you’ll face, the same challenges that I still face today. But I believe with all my heart, that the effort you put forth will be worth it. Until the next time. Carbie
