Doing Time

When we really think about it our time here on earth is negligible compared to eternal time, and spending eternity with our Heavenly Father. If you have never thought of time in these terms I would encourage you to do so. Of course this would require a complete shift in mindset especially if you come from a non Christian background.

As I have gotten much older with much more time to reflect I now realize how much it truly matters what we do days-to-day in our lives. Most of you are busy raising families, working, or still going to school. Some of you are doing two or three things, maybe even more, and are much to busy to give much time tip think about eternity. But nevertheless I still want to encourage you to think about from time to time.

If you believe your soul and new immortal body will spend eternity either with you creator or someplace else, it’s definitely worth a pause to reflect just a little. If you believe life here on earth is it, there’s nothing else, or if there is you have no clue it might be definitely worth another look.

The human body alone is such an amazing creation. Our heart perhaps the engine or workhorse is circulating your blood through your body 1,000 times per day. Your bones are four times stronger than concrete, nerve impulses in the brain travels as fast as 170 mph, the acid in your stomach is strong enough to dissolve razor blades. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea.

Just looking at this one example of the human body should give us all pause to reflect. I personally can’t even imagine how this magnificent specimen could be anything else but a creation of God Almighty. If your faith is telling you that there is a Higher Power then it’s important to make each day count. God wants us, needs us to do our best. When we are doing our best and living within his guidelines He is very pleased. Our rooms here on earth is temporary, and short lived. Think about that!

If you are not sure on what follows after life here on earth, do the research, find out what your options are because you don’t want to make an eternal mistake. Get all the facts that you can and my hope is that someday you too will come to the same conclusion that I and over a billion Christians have concluded that Jesus Christ is the only way to life ever after.
