Today I’d like to stress how important belief and faith are. A belief is something you hold dear and near to you. Your core values of love, truth, honesty, respect, and kindness, just to mention a few are what you believe in. These values comprise a set of beliefs. You may have similar and other beliefs as well. The point is that your beliefs shape you think that in turn will shape how you behave.
Faith like a belief can ‘ t be seen. Faith is a personal thing and will vary from individual to individual. We have faith in many things. For example, it takes faith and the belief that your flight will safely arrive at its destination. You are putting your trust that the airplane pilot will safely land the airplane. You might not understand exactly how an airplane weighing thousands of pounds can stay in the air but you are willing to put your faith and trust on that fact.
We take many things for granted. You believe and have faith that your car will get you from point A to point B as long as you put gas in it as required. You might not know all the intricacies of what makes the engine continually run but you believe and have faith that you will surely arrive at you he destination. The point I’m trying to make is that we don’t have all the answers to some of the things we have to accept on faith.
We place our faith in many things we can’t see nor prove. We just know and believe. It’s also important to place your faith on what you believe to be true. This is especially true in spiritual matters. Faith, hope, and you beliefs are especially relevant. Your faith and belief in your Higher Power is in my opinion one of the strongest and most powerful belief that a man or woman can have.
